Isn’t it time to treat yourself, your family, or friends to a brand new adventure? You’re never too young or old to take a guided canoe camping trip through Minnesota’s beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Abundant wildlife, breathtaking natural beauty, cool sky blue waters, the BWCAW-Quetico is a freshwater paradise of over 3,000 interconnected lakes, rivers and streams covering more than 2.5 million acres.

Depending on your schedule and interests, we can plan out a trip that will take you directly to the perfect campsite and set up a stationary base camp, or we can pack 'ultra-light' with the plan on traveling across many beautiful lakes exploring, fishing and camping as we go.

A few reasons people like to take trips into the BWCA...

When it comes to finding where the fish are biting, Sean is an expert guide.   Catching fish is guaranteed. Walleyes and Brook Trout are our specialty.

In addition to canoe camping trips during the ice free season,  Sean also outfits and leads winter camping/fishing expeditions into the BWCA.  We travel by mukluks, ice cleats, snowshoe, dogsled, or snowmobile, depending on conditions.  We use canvas tents and lightweight titanium wood burning stoves on each trip.   These are as we like to call them - 'warm' winter camping trips.  Even if it's minus 20 degrees and a howlin' blizzard outside, we can crank up the stove and the temperature inside the tent rises to 70+ F.  When the 'fish on!' flag goes up try your luck running out to a 'tip-up' ice fishing rig and pull out a trophy brook trout or walleye out of the ice hole.

Sean is also a Boundary Waters map cartographer, and the creator of Magical Maps BWCA and Quetico trip planning software.  Click here to visit the Magical Maps website.
