Sean has been exploring the Quetico/Superior area for 16 years. While creating Magical Maps, a Boundary Waters / Quetico Park mapping program, he traveled through 900+ lakes in the BWCAW. You could say there are few people alive who have seen more of this area than Sean.
In 2003 Sean created the new line of McKenzie maps of the BWCAW (map #s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 17, 18, 118), look for his name on the map legend.
Sean has studied wilderness management, orienteering, fire fighting, local plant and wildlife biology at Vermillion College in Ely, MN and has does volunteer trips working with wilderness rangers in the BWCAW. He has successfully completed and passed the First Responder first aid course offered by the American Red Cross and has received advanced lifeguard training and certification.
Sean has guided BWCA trips for Voyageur Outfitters on the Gunflint Trail, LaCroix outfitters in Buyck, MN and Anderson's outfitters in Crane Lake, MN.
